Alma takes place at Westminster Boating Base, a beautiful riverside venue in Pimlico with panoramic London views, a terrace, cocktail bar and welcoming social spaces.

Thursday matters: the festival begins with the opening workshop, Welcome Milonga, opening party and the first gathering of our international festival community. Stay through Sunday: the Grand Finale runs from afternoon into evening, with the optional Argentine Asado and a unique à la carte performance featuring all maestros in randomly selected pairings.
The Grand Finale Milonga is part of the festival programme. The Argentine Asado is optional and booked separately as an add-on, with booking released closer to the festival.

Before you book
When and where is the festival?
Alma de Tango Festival London takes place from 15–18 October 2026 at Westminster Boating Base, 136 Grosvenor Rd, Pimlico, Westminster, London SW1V 3JY.
Which pass should I choose?
Choose the Milonga Pass for the complete social programme, the Festival Pass for 5 workshops and the musicality seminar, or the Full Experience Pass for up to 8 workshops. Flexible pass options are also available.
How do workshop selections work?
Festival Pass, Full Experience and Festival Flex holders select workshops during checkout. Festival Flex includes any 3 workshops across the festival, subject to availability, capacity and role balance.
Do I need a partner?
No. You can register as a solo dancer or with a partner. Role balance is monitored carefully, so early booking is recommended.
Can I change workshops or transfer my pass?
Workshop changes and pass transfers may be requested up to 30 days before the festival, subject to availability, capacity, role balance and organiser approval.
What happens on Sunday?
Sunday concludes with the Grand Finale Milonga and a unique à la carte performance featuring all maestros. The Argentine Asado is optional, booked separately as an add-on, and will be released closer to the festival.

Are bookings refundable?
Bookings are non-refundable for attendee cancellations. This does not affect statutory rights. If the festival is cancelled, rescheduled or materially changed by the organiser, attendees will be contacted with the available options under applicable consumer law.
